Jeff St. Clair, hospital administrator and C.O.O., Springhill Medical Center said, The installation of the Aquilion ONE, the world's first dynamic volume CT and the first in Alabama, will allow us to reduce diagnosis time for life-threatening diseases from hours or days to a matter of minutes.

Laura Cleveland, R.T., radiology director, Springhill Medical Center, The Aquilion ONE's single, comprehensive exam can provide physicians with data to replace a variety of duplicative tests and invasive procedures, dramatically increasing diagnostic confidence and patient satisfaction. Replacing several tests with the Aquilion ONE's single exam helps reduce radiation and contrast dosage and provides an overall safer exam for the patient.

Springhill Medical Center plans to use the Aquilion ONE to treat at-risk patients with a variety of medical conditions, including cardiovascular disease, cerebral vascular disease and musculoskeletal injuries.

Doug Ryan, senior director, CT Business Unit, Toshiba, The Aquilion ONE installation at Springhill Medical Center will further improve their exceptional quality of care.
