Agfa HealthCare announces that 10,000 units of its successful CR 30 X system have now been produced at its manufacturing facility in Peissenberg, Germany. This milestone highlights the continued success of the versatile tabletop computed radiography (CR) digitizer, which was ranked the No. 1 single plate CR system in 2010 by KLAS, a research firm specializing in monitoring and reporting the performance of healthcare vendors.

Compact tabletop CR system is suitable for many applications
The combination of high image quality, affordability, size and implementation of market-leading imaging software distinguishes the CR 30-X from all market competitors. It is ideal for decentralized general radiography, military field hospitals, orthopedics, chiropractic and veterinary use.

Dirk Debusscher, Vice President Imaging at Agfa HealthCare says, The CR 30-X is an affordable solution that provides healthcare facilities with a high-quality, easy-to-deploy digitizer at the point-of-care where it is most needed.  The production of the 10,000th system marks an important milestone: the strong production figures demonstrate that the CR 30-X is, and will remain, a successful member of our comprehensive family of CR and direct radiography (DR) solutions.
