INDIANAPOLIS – UNIFI Autism Care, a growing leader in clinically integrated care for autistic children and their families, has made two critical executive appointments reflecting their commitment to clinically-led leadership.
Breanne Hartley, PhD, BCBA-D, has been appointed as President of UNIFI Autism Care, while also maintaining her position as Chief Clinical Officer. Dr. Hartley is a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst with over 20 years of experience working with patients on the autism spectrum and their families. She has functioned at the executive level within other behavior analysis services organizations, most recently as Chief Operating Officer. She is a leader in the field of behavior analysis, currently serving as President of the Behavior Analyst Certification Board, speaking at national and state conferences, and having served as a committee member for the Autism Commission on Quality Accreditation.

Steven Merahn, MD, FAAP, formerly a Strategic Advisor to UNIFI, has been appointed Chief Medical Officer. Trained as a pediatrician, Dr. Merahn is an experienced physician-executive focused on the care delivery redesign and systems-based practice for value-based care, with special focus on behavioral/mental health and complex populations. He has had strategic and clinical leadership roles in organizations supporting children and adults with medical complexity, intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and autism. An active Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), Dr. Merahn is a member of the Autism Subcommittee of the AAP Council on Children with Disabilities and the Primary Care Committee of the AAP Section on Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics and the only physician on the Council of Autism Services Providers Autism Commission on Quality.
