AeroScout, Inc., the leading provider of Unified Asset Visibility solutions for the healthcare industry, today reported strong growth of its healthcare client base, revenue and solution set in the first quarter of 2009. AeroScout added more than 30 new hospital clients in Q1, and 40 existing healthcare clients made additional purchases of AeroScout solutions. This resulted in over 150% healthcare revenue growth compared to AeroScout’s first quarter of 2008. The company’s continued momentum in the market was also represented in the findings of a study conducted by research firm KLAS. The report, which was published in January 2009, found that AeroScout has the largest market share and the most healthcare organizations looking to it for their RTLS needs.
AeroScout is the largest, fastest-growing vendor in the RTLS space,” said Steve Van Wagenen, research director at KLAS and author of the KLAS Real-Time Location Systems (RTLS) Perception Study 2009. “Responses from the healthcare providers we interviewed suggest that AeroScout has a significant amount of momentum in the market in terms of performance and perception.”
AeroScout’s healthcare solutions enable clients to leverage their existing Wi-Fi networks to track the location, status and condition of assets and people. Healthcare organizations around the world rely on these solutions to improve operational efficiency, regulatory compliance and patient safety and care. AeroScout’s client base includes:
